TORQUAY'S Spring Creek Reserve has been confirmed as the venue for this year's Bellarine Football League grand final.

Football Geelong yesterday announced the venues for 2010 finals series, with Drysdale Recreation Reserve, now back in contention to host finals, locked in to host the preliminary final.

Football Geelong CEO Lee Hartman said the grand final venue came down to a race in two, but the league opted for Spring Creek Reserve given the success of previous grand finals.

"The last three years Torquay has held it and they've put on a really good show and that held them in good stead for this year," Hartman said.

"Drysdale's ground wasn't available last year and they've re-entered the mix and been awarded the preliminary final, and I'm sure they'll put on a good show, which will hold them in good stead moving forward.

"Obviously we can only play the grand final at one ground and there's been additional work going on at Spring Creek Reserve as well, so the decision was made to leave it there."

Portarlington will host the semi finals while week-one finals action will be played at Queens Park.

Hartman confirmed a super-sized screen, loaded on the back of a semi-trailer, would again show the BFL grand final live to the crowd at Spring Creek Reserve.BFL FINALS:

Week one: Sat-Sun Aug 21-22 at Queens Park

Week two: Sat-Sun Aug 28-29 at Portarlington

Week three: Sat Sept 4 at Drysdale

Week four: Sat Sept 11 at Spring Creek Reserve, Torquay
