Over the coming weeks we'll be compiling a historical gallery, featuring notable events in the history of the Torquay Football Club.

You need to appreciate that it will take some time to scan the original photos, and, where needed, add captions and the like.

The first image shows the 1920 Torquay Football team who were runners-up.

The second image (below) shows the handover of Football Club Presidency in 1964. Incoming President Laurie Nairn (centre) is shown with out-going President George McCartney (on Laurie's right) whilst Jean McCartney receives a posie from Norma Edwards (left).
